Essential First Aid Training for Kids

Agmo Junior's first CSR Community event under Agmo Junior Xplorers series.

Empowering Young Minds Through Practical Skills

On 14 June 2025, Agmo Junior hosted an impactful First Aid Training for Kids in Malaysia, aimed at empowering children between the ages of 6 to 12 with essential life-saving skills. The session took place at St John Ambulance Malaysia (SJAM) – Selangor Tengah Selatan Division in Puchong, in collaboration with their certified trainers.

This community event is part of our ongoing initiative — Junior Xplorers — to provide hands-on, real-world learning experiences for children beyond the classroom.

🩹 Why Teach First Aid to Children?

Parents often ask, “Is my child too young to learn first aid?” The truth is, basic first aid training can and should start as early as possible. It boosts a child’s confidence, sharpens their decision-making, and prepares them to respond calmly in emergencies.

Some key benefits of first aid training for children include:

  • Improved safety awareness at home, school, and playgrounds

  • Learning how to help themselves and others during injuries

  • Building resilience and leadership in unexpected situations

  • Understand how Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the Automated External Defribrillator (AED) device

They also enjoyed a live ambulance tour, explored real medical equipment, and participated in fun simulations guided by SJAM officers.

💬 What Parents Are Saying

“I never thought my 8-year-old could confidently tell me how to treat a burn — amazing experience!”
“Loved that this wasn’t just theory. The kids really did learn how to respond to real situations.”

BONUS!

Not only did the kids learn. Parents also got to undergo CPR and AED training so that they too receive valuable knowledge from our CSR event.

🚀 What’s Next for Junior Xplorers?

This first aid session is just one of many planned under our Junior Xplorers series — a community-driven effort by Agmo Junior, the educational arm of public-listed tech company Agmo Holdings Berhad.

Upcoming sessions include:

  • Trip to the Balai Bomba

  • Visiting the Police Station

  • Exploring Malaysia's Prison

Yes! We believe in making tech education fun, accessible, and hands-on — but we also understand that tech isn't everything, hence this CSR series will help expose kids to different areas.
